Our lotion candles are curated to use on your skin, for a nourishing and moisturizing gentle touch - ensuring that you can enjoy the best candles, while also knowing that you're doing something good for the environment. Plus, for every candle purchased, we donate $2 to a selected non-profit organization or fund toward doing good. With your help, we can make a difference in the world!

What does Eleora mean? 

Eleora (pronounced: Elle - ee - or - a) in Hebrew means, 'God is my light'. It's a simple yet powerful reminder every time we use our candles.

What is a lotion candle? 

We get this a lot! A lotion candle means it is made with skin-safe, specialty waxes. In addition, skin-safe oils, butters, and/or other botanicals may be used. Our lotion candles are curated with only the highest quality ingredients from trusted suppliers, so you can use to enhance the soft feel of your skin.

How do you use a lotion candle?

Simply, light your lotion candle, wait for wax to melt, creating a wax pool (about 10-20 min). Dip your Eleora mini wooden spoon into wax pool and apply to skin to moisturize and nourish. A small amount goes a long way. It's safest to use your snuffer to extinguish the flame before dipping your applicator to the wax pool.

What ingredients do you use in your lotion candles? 

Our Signature Luxury Lotion Candles are made from a combination of, organic beeswax coco creme, coco apricot creme wax, soy wax and nourishing organic botanicals such as, cold-pressed baobab oil, cold-pressed virgin rosehip oil, cold-pressed avocado oil, cold-pressed argan oil, golden jojoba oil, and vitamin E oil.

What ingredients do you use in your soy scented candles? ​

All our candles use high quality ingredients to help give a clean burn, so it's not harmful to breath in. This is no different with our scented candles, made from organic soy wax (not blended with any harsh chemicals).

Our ingredients are also: 

Vegan.Vegan products contain no animal products or animal-derived ingredients. Nada. None. Zero.

 

Phthalate-free. Phthalates are lil scent carriers that help scents linger longer. Some types of phthalates have affected the reproductive system of laboratory animals. We ain't about that, so none of our fragrances contain phthalates.

 

Cruelty-free. We do not & will not participate in harming animals. All of our Elerora Candle Co. products are cruelty-free, always.

How should I care for my candle and why?

It can be easy to think caring for a candle isn't that important but following safety instructions allows you to safely enjoy and maximize the most use from your candle, including a longer burn time/lifetime of your candle. Check out our Eleora candle care kits. 
 

• Place your candle on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface, and away from flammable items.

• Trim candle wick to 1/4" before each use to keep wax clean

• Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

• Always allow enough time for the candle wax to melt away from the edges to prevent tunneling.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish fully.

• Always keep well out of reach from children and pets.

How long do Eleora Candles Co. burn? 

Our candles have a burn time of approximately 7-10 hours per ounce, depending on usage and environmental conditions. To ensure the best burn time, keep the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch and burn the candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
